Good morning.
Congratulations to all of our students that participated in the Frost Honor Band at the University of Miami! The Concert was amazing and MAS was well represented!

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
MAS RITMO & JAZZ STUDENTS:
MAS Ritmo & Jazs students need to be at school tomorrow morning, Mon., 1/27, at 6:45 AM for Stage Set Up.
MAS RITMO & JAZZ BANDS CONCERT INFO:
Concert is tomorrow, Monday, 1/27, and the Report Time for students is 5:00 PM.
The Concert starts at 7:00 PM.
BERKLEE PROJECT:
We need Student Volunteers to help set up for the Beklee Project. Set up will be Tuesday, 1/28, from 2:35 pm - 4:45 pm. COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS WILL BE AWARDED.
Wednesday, 1/29, Projects with select MAS Students/Berklee and Latin Grammy Foundation all day until 7pm.
SOLOS & ENSEMBLES:
Friday, 1/31 and Saturday 2/1 are the FBA Solo and Ensembles for select members. Please check the FBA MAS Solo and Ensemble list for your schedule.
PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
We need help with the concession stand especially from parents that don’t have kids in Jazz or MAS Ritmo for the Monday night January 27 concert. If you are able to help, please email Mr. Rivero at masbandmiami@gmail.com

PARENTS - BECOME A CHAPERONE/VOLUNTEER:
Please try and become a Chaperone/Volunteer on the parent portal. Go to www.dadeschools.net to register. We need parents that are cleared for both Level 1 (In county & Non overnight) and Level 2 (Overnight and everywhere). -For Level 1, you fill out on the portal and it takes about 10 min. Then after you register, you bring in your license to the school to complete the process.
-For Level 2, Do the same process and select level 2. Then go to school to show your license and get the letter for your fingerprinting appointment. At this time of the year it is very quick.
