Good morning and I hope everyone is looking forward to the long weekend!

ANNOUNCEMENTS:


UNIFORM INFORMATION FOR ALL BAND STUDENTS:

The ordering information for the Band Concert Dresses and Band Tuxedo uniforms were recently posted on The BAND App. The deadline is September 9th. We will not be extending this deadline. Make sure that you put the code in for a discount. They will not give you the discount after the fact. -Returning Members need to try on their Uniform to determine if they need a new one. (If they need a new one, or parts, an order needs to be placed on The BAND App.

-New Members need to place their Uniform order on The BAND App.



ALL-STATE AUDITIONS: -Several Students still need to pay the $20 Audition Fee. Bring in Cash, put it in a Deposit Envelope with your name on it, and put it in the safe in the Band Room.

-Auditions are Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Miami Palmetto High School. Times will be posted once the District releases the schedule.



WIND SYMPHONY (WS), CONCERT JAZZ BAND (CJB), MAS RITMO (MR):

-The Rehearsal Schedule for the Magnet Showcase, "This Is Us," is as follows:

9/17, (Wed.) 2:45 PM - 4:30 PM

9/24, 9/25, 9/26 (W, Th, F), 2:45 PM - 5:30 PM

9/29, 9/30, 10/1 (M, T, W), 2:45 PM - 5:30 PM

10/2, (Th) TBA Rehearsal

10/3, 10/4 (Th, F) Performances (5pm - 10pm)

-All of these dates have been posted on our website calendar at Calendar | My Site

MAGNET FEES:

Band Magnet Fees are payable through OSP and must be paid by August 31st.

  • The Magnet Fees are as follows:

-Band Magnet Fee $80 (This is for ALL Students in Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Symphony)

-Jazz Magnet Fee is $40 (This is only for students registered for a Jazz Band Class)
