ANNOUNCEMENTS:
ALL-STATE AUDITIONS:
LAST CHANCE TO SIGN UP w/Mr. R is TOMORROW, MON., 8/24.
The All-State Audition fee is $20 per Ensemble and is payable to Maverick Band Boosters.
JAZZ BAND SECTIONALS THIS TUESDAY:
Jazz Band Sectionals will take place this Tuesday, 8/25, from 2:35 PM - 3:30 PM. Please be on time and prepared.
MAGNET FEES:
The Deadline for Magnet fees is 9/7/26. Magent Fees for ALL Concert Bands (CB, SB, WS) are $105. The Magnet Fee includes the 4% fee accessed by M-DCPS. No cash payments are accepted.
Magnet Fees for ALL Jazz Bands (MJB, CJB) are $47. The Magnet Fee includes the 4% fee accessed by M-DCPS. No cash payments are accepted.
Payments can be made on through OSP on the Dade Schools Potal.

UNIFORMS
Jazz Bands -
Final Payment Deadline: Tuesday, 8/25
Cost: $50
Payment: CASH ONLY
Place your $50 payment in one of the printed envelopes available in the Jazz Room.
Fill out all requested information on the envelope.
Place the cash inside.
Seal the envelope.
Place the sealed envelope in the Dropbox safe in the Jazz Room.
Concert Bands (Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Symphony)
The required Uniform, Tuxedo or Concert Dress, ordering information for our concert bands will be distributed by August 27. The information you receive will include the ORDER DEADLINE. You cannot miss the uniform ordering deadline! Please order your student’s uniform as soon as the information is distributed.

STUDENT & PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
Saturday, 8/29, the MAS Band is hosting the Florida Bandmasters Association at MAS. We are still in need of volunteers to assist. Please see Mr. Erich Rivero to sign up.
MAS RITMO:
MAS Ritmo Auditions Deadline is Thurs., 8/27, by 7:00 PM. If you have not received the MAS Ritmo audition requirements, please see Mr. Rivero.
Please send your audition video to Mr. Rivero through Band App messaging.
The first rehearsal for students selected for MAS Ritmo will take place in September.
The times will be 2:40–5:00 PM, in the Jazz Room – Room 9107
